Pipedream is an imaginative product of re-cycling at its best – created from a pile of King Billy Pine salvaged from a condemned West Coast pipeline.  The 30 by 10 mm strips of King Billy Pine the hull is made from, were recovered from timber salvaged from the old Lake Margaret pipeline. This form of construction is known as ‘strip plank’ and produces a very strong, light-weight hull.

This boat is destined to be a noted addition to the Tasmanian fleet of day sailers. With its Scandinavian design influence and cutting-edge water ballast system, it combines light weight and radical design, with traditional appearance and fine Tasmanian timber.
